Associate Functional HIS Specialist

About the role

The Associate Functional HIS Specialist will support the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of clinical information applications within a hospital environment. This role requires strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work closely with end‑users to ensure the health information system meets clinical workflow needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design, implement, evaluate, optimise and maintain clinical information applications.
• Perform data and statistical reviews to support system improvements.
• Provide effective communication and support to end‑users, addressing issues and gathering feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adapting to diverse team dynamics.
• Maintain a solid understanding of hospital workflows and clinical processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in medical or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Health Information Systems.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Familiarity with hospital settings and clinical workflows.

Required skills

• MEDITECH (or comparable Health Information System) certification or experience.
