Assurance Core Associate – Audit (Kuwait)

About the role

PwC Middle East is seeking an Assurance Core Associate to join its audit team in Kuwait. You will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver high‑quality external audits and statutory reporting for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external audits and statutory reporting for various clients.
• Research and understand industry‑specific information before engagements.
• Analyse engagement economics, compare actuals to budgets, and explain variances.
• Collaborate with teams to apply audit strategies, assess risks, and evaluate internal control frameworks.
• Document internal controls and draft recommendations and reports.
• Identify potential risk areas in partnership with senior associates.
• Stay updated on local and national business and economic developments.
• Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence standards.
• Develop internal and external relationships while upholding PwC values.
• Participate in digital initiatives and relevant upskilling activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with interest in audit and assurance.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, collaborative teams.
• Willingness to stay current on regulatory and economic changes.
