Cathodic Protection Engineer (Al Kuwait)

About the role

The Cathodic Protection Engineer will ensure the integrity and safety of on‑shore oil and gas pipelines through effective monitoring, design verification and construction oversight. Based in Al Kuwait, the role supports both the client and contractor teams to deliver projects that meet strict QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor contractor requisitions, work packages, risk assessments and method statements to optimise work processes.
• Witness and verify compliance with design specifications during construction and commissioning phases.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and technical guidance to client counterparts.
• Act as liaison between client and contractor, reporting directly to the Resident Engineer.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of pipeline experience in the oil & gas sector.
• 2–5 years of experience in design and construction of on‑shore pipelines.
• Familiarity with industry standard codes and construction practices.
• Based in Al Kuwait.
