Cement Laboratory Supervisor – Oilfield Services

About the role

The Cement Laboratory Supervisor leads all laboratory activities related to testing, qualification, and quality control of cement slurries used in oilfield cementing operations. The role ensures safe, accurate testing in line with API standards, client specifications, and company quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing for cementing and stimulation operations, including thickening time, fluid loss, rheology, and water analysis.
• Perform QA/QC testing for cementing additives and materials to verify compliance with specifications.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, guaranteeing accurate procedures and reliable data.
• Support development, evaluation, and validation of cementing systems and treatment designs through laboratory analysis.
• Maintain laboratory databases, test records, and technical documentation for data integrity and traceability.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including proper waste handling and disposal.
