PMS Project Manager – Power Station Upgrade (Kuwait)

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced PMS Project Manager based in Kuwait to lead the Project Management Team for the upgrade of a power and water generation station near Kuwait City. The role involves overseeing the EPC contractor and ensuring successful delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the EPC contractor to deliver the project on time, within budget, and meeting QHSE standards.
• Ensure correct application of design criteria, drawings, standards, and guidelines.
• Coordinate progress reporting, performance tracking, and resource allocation.
• Lead pre‑construction conferences, briefings, and presentations.
• Oversee construction and commissioning activities.
• Verify monthly invoices from the EPC contractor.
• Provide timely internal and external reporting.
• Maintain client satisfaction and foster long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 25 years of project management and engineering experience in FEED and EPC projects.
• Experience with brownfield site projects and EPC contract management.
• Member of the Kuwait Society of Engineers is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.
