Cisco Presales Engineer

About the role

The Cisco Presales Engineer will promote Cisco solutions to business partners, lead technical workshops, and deliver trainings and demonstrations. The role focuses on driving incremental revenue and expanding market share by providing expert technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners with Cisco certifications, technical meetings, sizing, architecture, and RFP preparation.
• Advise customers on technical matters and recommend optimal configurations.
• Create sales pitches, presentations, and product demonstrations tailored to prospect needs.
• Visit end‑users jointly with Cisco teams and partners to showcase solutions.
• Organise partner training and enablement sessions.
• Collaborate with Cisco product teams to prepare prospect‑specific software presentations.
• Develop business analysis, technical components of proposals, pricing, quotations, and proposals.
• Conduct internal trainings for Account Managers and Business Development Managers on new developments.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of presales or IT consulting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• CCDA and CCNA certifications required; CCNP or specialization preferred.
• Proven experience working with customers, sales teams, and technical partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage virtual technical teams.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
