Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will monitor and manage the hotel’s costs to ensure efficient operations and profitability. This full‑time, on‑site position supports budgeting, forecasting and month‑end closing activities within a dynamic five‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily purchasing and receiving reports and verify invoice accuracy.
• Allocate costs correctly to the appropriate hotel departments.
• Prepare and analyse cost and variance reports.
• Assist with month‑end closing procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain cost‑control procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Coordinate with purchasing, finance and operations teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cost control, accounting or finance within hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CMA or CPA are an advantage.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuwait and adapt to a fast‑paced hotel environment.
