ESM Systems Engineer III

About the role

The ESM Systems Engineer III provides expert‑level engineering and management support for enterprise‑class infrastructure within V2X’s global operations. Reporting to the section team lead, this senior position mentors other engineers and serves as the primary escalation point for complex system issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise‑level support for Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows File Services across global initiatives.
• Perform problem management, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of identity‑management incidents in a large‑scale Department of Defense environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain core infrastructure components such as SCCM/MECM, WSUS, SQL, ADFS, MIM/FIM, DNS, OCSP, PKI, and Group Policy.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and automation using PowerShell.
• Act as an escalation point for application support, guiding resolution of complex production issues.
• Mentor junior Systems Engineers and contribute to enterprise‑wide virtualized initiatives.

Required profile

• Expert‑level certifications in multiple disciplines (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, CISSP).
• Extensive hands‑on experience with large enterprise environments, preferably in a DoD or similar high‑security setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage escalations.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
