Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, functionality, and safety of all company facilities across multiple branches. The role ensures gyms, swimming pools, and building systems operate at the highest standards to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of facilities across multiple locations, ensuring minimal disruption to members.
• Conduct regular inspections, implement preventative maintenance schedules, and manage urgent breakdowns.
• Maintain gym equipment, swimming pool systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire safety, access control, CCTV, elevators, and emergency systems.
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians, assign daily work priorities, and track work orders.
• Manage relationships with external contractors, service agreements, and maintenance budgets.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service histories, and regulatory compliance.
• Forecast spare‑part inventory needs and replacement requirements for aging equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (as stated).
• Proven experience leading a maintenance team in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, budgets, and contracts.
