Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of our flagship retail store in Kuwait. The role ensures that all building systems operate reliably, complies with statutory and HSE requirements, and supports the store’s operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire‑fighting, fire‑alarm, generators, UPS, BMS and elevators.
• Manage service providers and contractors, translating contracts into clear site objectives, SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset registers and integrated site plans covering manpower, consumables and spare parts.
• Monitor system performance, alarms and asset condition to identify risks and drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, safety standards, permits to work, risk assessments and lockout/tag‑out procedures.
• Support minor projects, site mobilisations and budget control while delivering services within approved policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or building services management, preferably in a large retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, HSE and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead teams, coordinate contractors and manage budgets.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
