Firefighter/EMT Basic – Emergency Response

About the role

The Firefighter/EMT Basic will be stationed in Kuwait to support emergency fire and medical operations. The role involves responding to fire and medical calls, providing basic life‑support care, and ensuring the safety of personnel and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to fire, medical, and related emergency calls.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) in accordance with EMS protocols.
• Assist paramedics in assessing injuries and prioritising care.
• Transport patients safely to designated medical facilities.
• Maintain fire apparatus, vehicles, and equipment in ready condition.
• Staff the Fire Alarm Communications Center, monitor alarm systems and dispatch appropriate resources.
• Educate staff and the public on fire safety and prevention.
• Participate in continuing medical education and training, both as instructor and learner.

Required profile

• Valid Basic EMT certification.
• Physical fitness to work in varied weather and atmospheric conditions.
• Ability to operate fire alarm communication equipment and radios.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
