Game Developer (Real-time Multiplayer Strategy)

About the role

DaRaX Studios is seeking a full‑time Game Developer to join its growing team in Salmiya. You will help design, implement and maintain core gameplay systems for a war strategy title and future multiplayer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and code real‑time gameplay features and systems.
• Integrate art assets and ensure smooth multiplayer mechanics.
• Debug, profile and optimise performance issues.
• Write and maintain technical design documentation.
• Review code for quality, maintainability and best practices.
• Iterate on features based on play‑testing feedback.
• Support launch and live‑operations of the war strategy game.

Required profile

• Strong game programming and gameplay programming abilities.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and clean code practices.
• Good grasp of game design principles such as balancing and systems design.
• Experience with common game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and version control (e.g., Git).
• Degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with multiplayer or strategy games, performance optimisation and shipped titles is a plus.
