HSE Engineer – Site-based Role in Kuwait City

About the role

Rokadiya Overseas is seeking an HSE Engineer for a site‑based, full‑time position in Kuwait City. The role will support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental systems in line with Kuwait regulations, client requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, safety observations, risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
• Monitor compliance with approved HSE plans, method statements, permit‑to‑work procedures and safe operating practices.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills and workforce awareness sessions.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection logs, training registers and performance reports.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental principles, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Ability to implement and audit HSE procedures, permit‑to‑work systems and emergency response plans.
• Practical experience conducting site inspections and identifying hazards in construction or industrial activities.
• Clear communication and training skills for engaging multicultural workforces, contractors and client teams.
• Working knowledge of Kuwait requirements and standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is preferred.
