Manager, Selection & Research – CIO Office

About the role

NBK Wealth is seeking a Manager for Selection & Research within its CIO Office in Kuwait. The role combines investment idea generation, fund due‑diligence, and support for the creation of market‑focused publications and model portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on macro‑economic trends, geopolitical events, market dynamics and emerging investment themes.
• Generate investment ideas by exploring new asset classes, strategies and themes; draft research papers and marketing materials.
• Provide data‑driven insights for CIO publications and assist in designing model portfolios and investment solutions.
• Perform due‑diligence on external managers, screen third‑party funds, and maintain relationships with placement agents and service providers.
• Coordinate communication with Asset Management, Corporate Communications, Legal & Compliance and other internal/external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess macro trends and fund performance.
• Excellent written communication skills for research papers and publications.
