Material Control Engineer

About the role

ASMACS is seeking a Material Control Engineer to support its power stations and water‑distillation projects in Kuwait. The role sits within the Project Management Department (Boiler & Piping) and focuses on ensuring the right materials are available at the right time for piping and related works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material requirements plans for piping packages.
• Manage inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to secure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and capacity plans.
• Support production scheduling and monitor material flow on site.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Material Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in material control, preferably on power‑station or water‑distillation projects.
• Proven ability to work in a shipyard/industrial environment.
