Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Mechanical Engineering courses with a strong emphasis on practical, industry‑based learning.
• Integrate industry practices, engineering projects, standards, codes, and real‑world case studies into the curriculum.
• Develop and update course materials and curricula to reflect current technological advances.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and research matters.
• Conduct scholarly research and contribute to the university’s research profile.
• Participate in institutional service and collaborative, inclusive academic activities.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications (typically a PhD) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
• Active research record with publications in reputable journals or conferences.
• Experience engaging with emerging technologies and methodologies in engineering.
