Menu Developer

About the role

The Menu Developer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kuwait, responsible for designing, updating and optimizing menus across Al Jubu Group’s food & beverage concepts. You will work closely with chefs, operations and marketing teams to ensure menus meet brand standards, cost targets and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to create balanced, cost‑effective menus.
• Define portion sizes and ensure dishes meet taste, presentation and profitability criteria.
• Conduct market research and analyse sales data to recommend menu improvements.
• Align menu offerings with brand positioning, seasonal campaigns and promotional activities.
• Standardise recipes, maintain accurate menu documentation and ensure compliance with local food regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in menu development, culinary innovation or food concept creation within restaurants, cafés or hospitality groups.
• Strong knowledge of food costing, portion control and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to conduct market research, interpret customer feedback and use data‑driven decision making.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across culinary, operations and marketing teams.
• Relevant education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Food Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in the GCC region or a multicultural environment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (spreadsheets, word processing).
• Basic design tools for menu documentation and updates.
