Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Nurse to provide safe, timely, and professional nursing and first‑aid support to the university community and ensure continuous operation of the campus clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑aid, initial nursing assessment, triage and immediate care within the approved scope of practice.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, stabilize patients and coordinate ambulance or external referrals.
• Assist the Clinic Doctor with day‑to‑day clinical services and follow established medical protocols.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records, incident reports and clinic logs.
• Support student health screenings, registration‑period activities and other health‑service initiatives.
• Monitor first‑aid supplies, emergency equipment and medication expiry dates, reporting replenishment needs.
• Uphold infection‑prevention, hygiene and safety standards, reporting any concerns immediately.
• Provide basic health education and wellness guidance to students and staff.
• Coordinate with Security, Student Affairs, Facilities, HR and external healthcare providers as required.
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills, campus events and special coverage assignments.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Valid Kuwait Ministry of Health nursing licence or eligibility to obtain one before deployment.
• Minimum 10 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in university, school, occupational‑health or outpatient clinic settings.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; additional emergency‑care certifications are a plus.
• Good written and verbal English skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong documentation, teamwork, confidentiality and professional judgment.
