Operations Manager & Cost Controller

About the role

Underline Group Kuwait is looking for an experienced Operations Manager & Cost Controller to lead day‑to‑day activities across its four restaurant brands. You will drive operational excellence, cost efficiency and profitability while ensuring a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at all restaurant locations, ensuring smooth performance.
• Monitor operational KPIs, sales, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Develop, implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Control food, beverage, labor and overall operational costs.
• Analyse daily, weekly and monthly operational and financial reports and take corrective actions.
• Manage inventory, stock variances, purchasing and waste control.
• Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate pricing and review vendor agreements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and company policies.
• Coach restaurant managers to improve performance and achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant operations management, cost control or a similar F&B leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multiple restaurant locations.
• Strong knowledge of food cost, beverage cost, inventory control, COGS, labor cost, budgeting and P&L analysis.
• Experience with purchasing, supplier management and inventory control systems.
• Excellent analytical, financial reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance or related field.
