Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end logistics and field operations for a fast‑growing company in Kuwait. This role combines business development, route management, driver supervision and warehouse control to ensure seamless collection and delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure contracts with key accounts, negotiate terms and manage client relationships.
• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring on‑time collections, efficient routing and zero loss or theft.
• Manage drivers, storekeepers and field teams, enforcing discipline, attendance and performance standards.
• Prepare and optimise daily and weekly collection schedules, balancing volume, fuel usage and warehouse capacity.
• Supervise warehouse activities, maintain accurate inventory records and monitor bulk storage levels.
• Ensure collected material meets quality standards and coordinate supplier performance.
• Track and report KPIs such as collection volumes, driver productivity and missed pickups.
• Monitor operations for fraud or irregularities and support loss‑prevention audits.
• Execute management directives promptly, following up on hiring, logistics and procurement tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics or supply‑chain management within Kuwait.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, six days a week, and be available 24/7 for emergencies.
• Proven experience managing drivers, field teams and route operations in a high‑pressure environment.
