Part-Time IT Support Engineer – Onsite Dispatch

About the role

SkySys is seeking a Part‑Time IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site dispatch assistance at a client location in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves 1–2 scheduled visits per month, with at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible, and offers flexible, on‑demand support during regular business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to the client site and perform hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve PC break/fix issues, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Support printers, configure and maintain VPN, DNS, DHCP, and RDP connections.
• Provide Smart Hands services and on‑site infrastructure assistance.
• Lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lbs as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of field IT or desktop support experience.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
• Personal laptop for remote connectivity and NOC sponsor authorization to work with SkySys.
• Associate‑level seniority.

Required skills

• Windows operating system troubleshooting.
• Networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP, RDP).
• Hardware repair and PC break/fix.
• Printer, laptop, desktop, and peripheral support.
• Smart Hands / on‑site infrastructure support.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification (preferred).
