Project Executive – Retail Design & Construction

About the role

The Project Executive will lead the full lifecycle of retail store projects, from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards. This role combines architectural design, project management, and on‑site supervision for new builds, renovations, and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and redesign retail formats to align with brand, mall requirements and market trends.
• Develop complete design packages including floor plans, elevations, HVAC, lighting, graphics, material selections and finishes.
• Produce detailed specifications and engineering/interior drawings using company standards.
• Coordinate zoning, space management and product placement based on consumer profiles.
• Review shop drawings, samples and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Conduct existing condition surveys and prepare architectural documentation.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising teams for design inputs.
• Assist in site selection, prepare survey reports and create detailed project plans with cost and schedule estimates.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Architecture, Planning & Design, Applied Science or Civil Engineering.
• 7‑8 years of experience in interior/retail store design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of spatial layouts, conceptual sketching and 3D modelling.
• Understanding of architectural detailing, construction methodology and civil work estimation.
