Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will serve as the primary internal point of contact for Almarai employees in Kuwait, ensuring that all documentation required for work and residence is processed efficiently. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with local government bodies and regulatory authorities to support the company’s expansion and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with local government agencies to obtain and renew work permits, residency visas, and other employee‑related documents.
• Act as the liaison between Almarai and external authorities, establishing high‑level relationships with officials.
• Monitor the status of applications and follow up proactively to prevent processing delays.
• Maintain accurate records of all employee documentation and ensure compliance with local legislation.

Required profile

• High school (2nd level) education with fluency in reading, writing and speaking Arabic.
• 1‑2 years of experience in an administrative or public‑relations role within a reputable organization.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and a valid driving licence.
• Strong persuasion, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, a positive attitude and loyalty.
• Good knowledge of local government legislation and regulations.
• Proactive, outgoing disposition with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
