Research Expert Computer Vision & Image Processing

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified expert in computer vision and image processing to serve as a peer reviewer for academic manuscripts. The role involves evaluating submissions for originality, methodological soundness, and scientific impact.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, detailed feedback and highlight any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
