Research Supervisory Analyst – Investment Banking

About the role

The Research Supervisory Analyst joins Deutsche Bank Research within the globally integrated Business Controls & Supervisory Analyst team. The role ensures that research notes comply with FINRA rules, internal policies, and regulatory standards while supporting product governance and AI‑driven enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate research reports, make independent decisions and implement changes to meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Oversee the global product governance framework for Research, collaborating with analysts, management, and control functions.
• Introduce artificial intelligence into the governance process to improve quality and reduce publication lead time.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize document reviews, and ensure timely clearance.
• Communicate effectively with research analysts, product managers, compliance, legal, and control rooms.
• Identify potential business conflicts in published research and keep abreast of regulatory updates.
• Multi‑task across various IT platforms while maintaining high accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a supervisory analyst, preferably Series 16 qualified.
• Native‑level English written and oral communication skills.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to translate them for analysts.
• Team player able to prioritize in high‑pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
