About the role
The Sales Executive will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new business for the hotel. You will work closely with the Sales Director and other hotel departments to drive revenue across all streams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
- Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to increase market share.
- Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.
- Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media.
- Prepare contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience.
- Attend sales events as required.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management, including appointments, calls made and business leads.
- Answer customer queries promptly and professionally.
Required profile
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to high‑level customer service and excellent grooming standards.
- Flexibility to respond to varied work situations.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of closing deals.
- Knowledge of the local market and hospitality sector.
- Passion for sales and achieving targets.
- Preferably previous hotel experience.
