Senior Communication Trainer (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Communication Trainer to support the EU’s outreach and engagement project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role involves designing and delivering high‑impact training programmes that strengthen the visibility and impact of EU policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Conduct capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants’ learning needs and adapt content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes, prepare post‑training reports and provide recommendations.
• Coach and mentor communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication/media, or comparable professional experience.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluency in English and French and/or Arabic, as relevant.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in communication/media.
• At least 3 years of specific experience designing and delivering training seminars.
