Senior Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Audit Specialist to independently execute audit assignments, assess compliance with company policies, and safeguard the accuracy of financial and operational activities. The role demands a detail‑driven professional who thrives in a structured environment and can contribute to strengthening accountability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audit engagements in line with the approved audit plan.
• Conduct detailed reviews of financial and operational records.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify audit findings, document observations with supporting evidence, and prepare clear audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Follow up on audit observations to ensure proper implementation.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and working papers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and auditing standards.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA are an advantage.
