Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead and execute internal audit engagements and advisory services. The role supports governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness while delivering actionable recommendations to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Stay current with standards, legislation, and professional developments to apply best practices.
• Lead audit advisory engagements, from planning and proposal preparation to execution and reporting.
• Prepare and review engagement letters, audit programs, working papers, reports, and executive presentations.
• Supervise project teams, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality and timeline adherence.
• Manage client communication, conduct meetings, present findings, and incorporate feedback.
• Identify project risks, develop corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading internal audit engagements and managing project teams.
• Strong technical supervision and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent understanding of audit standards, risk assessment, and governance frameworks.
