Senior Manager – Aviation Security Operations

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to oversee aviation security operations for our Kuwait site. The role will drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of security training and screening processes, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and roll out aviation security training programs aligned with best international practices.
• Enhance security operations and systems to improve efficiency, compliance and passenger experience.
• Introduce and manage advanced screening technologies such as X‑ray, CT and ETD systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and foster a collaborative, multicultural workforce.
• Monitor and audit training compliance, operational KPIs and service quality standards.
• Allocate workforce effectively to meet peak traffic and emergency demands.
• Lead periodic reviews, produce reports and recommend actionable improvements.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of aviation security experience in an airport environment.
• Current aviation security certifications; ICAO‑certified training instructor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO, EC and other international aviation security standards.
• Proven experience in audits, compliance monitoring and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large 24/7 teams.
• University degree or equivalent is desirable; Arabic language a plus.
