Senior Security Specialist – Network & Cybersecurity

About the role

e-Portal is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to design, deploy and maintain advanced network security and cybersecurity solutions for a range of client environments. You will ensure SLA compliance through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance and L3 troubleshooting while safeguarding mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and endpoint protection solutions.
• Monitor systems proactively, perform preventive maintenance and resolve complex L3 tickets.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, risk analysis and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain security policies, compliance frameworks and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in network security and cybersecurity.
• Based in Kuwait (stc Head Office) and able to work onsite.
