Server Administration Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Server and System Administration Specialist to join ZAD’s Information Technology team in Kuwait. This hands‑on position is responsible for keeping the cloud infrastructure, endpoint devices, and internal systems secure and reliable across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain cloud environments (Azure or AWS) ensuring availability, performance and security.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory and identity‑and‑access management.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs and network switches; oversee endpoint device management via MDM solutions.
• Implement IT security policies, monitor for threats, investigate incidents and support audit/compliance (CMA regulations).
• Own business continuity and disaster‑recovery planning, testing backups and meeting recovery‑time objectives.
• Run the IT help‑desk, handle tickets within SLA, and support staff in Kuwait, UAE and the EU.
• Onboard/offboard employees, provision devices and manage access rights.
• Manage vendor relationships, SaaS subscriptions, renewals and license compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience working in a regulated fintech environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the IT domain.
