About the role
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking qualified civil engineering scholars to join its Visiting Faculty pool. Selected candidates will teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate civil engineering lectures and labs in assigned subjects.
- Design and prepare engaging course materials that align with AIU’s curriculum standards.
- Support student learning and success both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with full‑time faculty on curriculum development and program assessment.
- Participate in periodic evaluations and continuous academic improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- PhD in Civil Engineering.
- University‑level teaching experience in civil engineering.
- Industry experience in the civil engineering field is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic quality and professional integrity.
