Visiting Faculty – Computer Science

About the role

The American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking a Visiting Faculty member to teach undergraduate Computer Science courses. This full‑time position will join a dynamic engineering community and support AIU’s mission of delivering an American‑style education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate lectures and labs in Game Programming, Data Science & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Provide mentorship, academic advising and support to enrolled students.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members on curriculum design and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the intellectual and academic growth of the university’s engineering programs.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven university‑level teaching experience in the relevant subjects.
• Relevant industry experience that enhances classroom instruction.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence.
