Auditor / Senior Auditor

About the role

PKF Kuwait is hiring a permanent Auditor or Senior Auditor within its Audit department in Kuwait. The role covers the full audit lifecycle, from planning through to reporting, and includes supervising junior auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out assigned audit engagements from pre-planning to completion and reporting.
• Identify and communicate issues, offering solutions relevant to business and risk.
• Prepare reports, commentaries and financial information.
• Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of processes, circumstances and risks.
• Develop audit programmes and testing procedures aligned with risk and test objectives.
• Gather and review evidence so that audit conclusions are well documented in the audit file.
• Supervise junior auditors, giving guidance and reviewing their deliverables.
• Organise the work of the engagement team to be risk-based, productive and efficient.
• Pursue education and training opportunities and seek exposure to clients from different industries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with CA Inter or equivalent.
• Master's degree in Accounts and Business preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, attention to detail and time management.
• Able to instruct others and explain complex issues clearly.

Required skills

• Familiarity with financial software.
• Strong math skills.
