Business Development Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech environmental services company expanding our waste‑collection network across the GCC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Business Development Manager will drive operational growth in Kuwait by building and managing relationships with high‑volume commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire supply contracts with restaurants, hotels, catering firms, food manufacturers, supermarkets and industrial clients.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and exclusive long‑term agreements to protect the supply chain.
• Respond to commercial tenders from government facilities, airports and large corporate dining halls.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with procurement heads, franchise owners and managers to ensure loyalty and prevent churn.
• Resolve client issues promptly and conduct regular site visits to monitor satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and service offerings to adjust strategy.
• Identify new geographic territories for fleet expansion.
• Promote the service as an eco‑friendly initiative at trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in operations, logistics, waste management, recycling, FMCG distribution or field service management.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities, including driver and field‑operations oversight.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational problems quickly.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence (preferred).
• Experience in waste collection or environmental services is a major plus.
