Grinder

About the role

APEX Group International General Trading & Contracting Company, a privately owned Kuwaiti firm based in the Shuhaiba Industrial area with its head office in Fahaheel, is looking for a Grinder to support workshop or industrial-site operations. The role covers accurate, safe grinding and finishing work on metal components.

Key responsibilities

• Operate hand-held and stationary grinders to cut, smooth, deburr and finish metal components according to work specifications.
• Inspect workpieces and finished surfaces for defects, dimensions and required finish, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Select suitable grinding wheels and attachments, and check tools and equipment for safe working condition before use.
• Follow work instructions, site safety procedures and PPE and housekeeping requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area, handle materials carefully and assist with routine equipment care.
• Coordinate with fabricators, welders and other team members to meet production or maintenance schedules.

Required profile

• Practical experience operating angle grinders, bench grinders or comparable grinding equipment.
• Ability to grind, deburr, smooth and finish metal parts with consistent quality.
• Working knowledge of grinding wheels, abrasives, tool selection and basic equipment checks.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, fabrication drawings or simple measurements.
• Competence inspecting finished work and identifying surface defects or dimensional issues.
• Strong safety awareness, good manual dexterity, attention to detail, reliability and teamwork.
