About the role
The Heart of House Specialist supports vital hotel functions by maintaining cleanliness across departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This role ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linen, and a safe, well‑maintained environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel, handling items up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Prepare clean linen and dining ware for guest use.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Uphold quality standards, company policies, and professional appearance.
Required profile
- Ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Commitment to creating a safe workplace and following all safety procedures.
- Positive attitude toward teamwork and communication with other departments.
- No specific education or prior experience required.
