Materials Supervisor

About the role

The Materials Supervisor is based in Kuwait supporting the WEXMAC operation. The role leads a 24/7 warehouse team, managing receipt, storage, inventory, issue and disposal of government‑furnished and contractor‑acquired material.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise up to 25 direct/indirect staff in a 24‑hour, 7‑day operation, including mentoring and developing subordinate leaders.
• Oversee receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and disposing of material, conducting monthly cyclic and annual inventories and location surveys.
• Process customer orders, perform 3‑way match, and manage MAXIMO and GCSS‑A transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage physical security of material per FAR and local policy, adjust stock locations, and coordinate disposition of excess material.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Warehouse Manager and interface with internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 + years in materiel management and 2 + years supervisory experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisitions Regulations for material/property management.
• Experience with supply room operations, inventory management and multi‑million‑dollar stock accountability.

Required skills

• MAXIMO inventory system.
• GCSS‑A requisition system.
• IFS, SAP or Oracle warehouse management systems.
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Forklift, pallet jack and industrial truck operation.
