Senior Credit and Collection Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Credit and Collection Controller to join our Finance team in Kuwait. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and mitigating credit risk for a company active in MEP contracting, facility management, and after‑sales services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Manage aging reports, follow up on overdue receivables and prepare collection forecasts.
• Review customer credit limits, assess credit risks and negotiate collections while maintaining strong relationships.
• Review contracts and payment terms to minimise financial exposure.
• Prepare collection reports and support month‑end financial activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Legal and other internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
• Proven track record managing aging reports, achieving collection targets and conducting credit risk assessments.
• Experience in the MEP contracting, construction, engineering or facility‑management sectors is highly preferred.
• Valid driving licence.

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using financial reporting tools.
