Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead daily procurement activities, ensuring optimal rates, risk mitigation, and compliance with organisational policies. This role requires strategic oversight of procurement processes across high‑voltage substation and transmission projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily procurement activities, including contract review and implementation.
• Develop and enforce procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company objectives.
• Negotiate purchase of equipment, goods and services to achieve cost‑effective outcomes.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure high‑quality standards.
• Monitor procurement staff performance, provide training, and ensure timely completion of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of procurement experience with a reputable EPC company on High Voltage Substation, Overhead Transmission Line and Underground Cable projects in the GCC.
• Proven ability in staff supervision, budget monitoring and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• SAP ERP (MM & PM modules).
• Vendor and contract management.
