Specialty Barista – Shuwaikh Café

About the role

The Specialty Barista will work full‑time on‑site in Shuwaikh, preparing a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and quality standards. The role combines beverage preparation, customer service, and general café operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks, operating espresso machines and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure food hygiene and safety practices.
• Manage stock of ingredients, replenish supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
• Welcome customers, take orders, answer product questions, and provide courteous service.
• Support café operations including basic food preparation, cashier duties, and opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

• Strong barista skills with practical experience in coffee and tea preparation.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic food preparation knowledge and understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle busy periods calmly, and work flexible shifts.
• Basic numeracy for cash handling and POS system use; Arabic or English language advantage.
