Student Conduct Officer

About the role

The Student Conduct Officer promotes a safe, respectful, and supportive campus environment by administering the University’s Student Code of Conduct and managing non‑academic misconduct cases. The role emphasizes student accountability, restorative practices, and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct impartial investigations of alleged conduct violations, interview involved parties, and maintain confidential case records using Maxient.
• Coordinate and facilitate conduct hearings, disciplinary meetings, educational conferences, and parent meetings, ensuring due process.
• Administer sanctions, educational interventions, and campus restrictions in line with university policies.
• Provide guidance on conduct policies to students, faculty, and staff, and refer students to appropriate support services.
• Assist in policy review, develop training sessions, and design awareness campaigns on student conduct and conflict resolution.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong conflict‑resolution, mediation, and de‑escalation abilities.
• High ethical standards, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and flexibility to work varied hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using electronic case management systems, specifically Maxient.
• Ability to prepare accurate data reports and maintain organized digital records.
