Supply Chain Officer

About the role

ABYAT is looking for a Supply Chain Officer to ensure optimal product availability across its retail stores in Kuwait. You will manage demand and supply planning, oversee the full purchase order cycle, and coordinate with vendors, logistics, and internal teams to keep inventory balanced and shipments on time.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales, inventory levels and business needs to forecast demand and set replenishment plans.
• Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase order lifecycle, including requisitions, proforma invoice validation, PO creation, costing, tracking and goods receipt.
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs such as OTIF, delivery timelines and contractual terms.
• Coordinate with vendors on production readiness, product availability and shipment schedules.
• Track international shipments, identify delivery risks and work with logistics and clearance teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and import requirements, including HS‑code classification and product registration.
• Maintain accurate product and vendor master data in ERP systems and support finance with vendor payments and invoice reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyse reports on inventory, service levels, supplier performance and supply‑chain KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, procurement or logistics.
• Hands‑on experience in demand and supply planning, forecasting and inventory replenishment.
