About the role

Amentum is seeking qualified Punjabi linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait, providing language and cultural expertise to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
Supply a variety of translation and interpretation services for Punjabi.

Required profile

U.S. citizen with a current U.S. passport.
Willingness to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
Willing to work in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours for 24x7 operations.
Familiarity with local culture and customs.
Ability to pass a medical examination.

Required skills

Punjabi language proficiency at ILR level 3 (oral and written).
English language proficiency at ILR level 2+ (oral and written).
