Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Kuwait on a permanent basis. The role requires deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform financial analysis and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Manage complex reporting requirements in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking or insurance.
• Maintain accurate financial records with a strong focus on detail.
• Utilize ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, and MS Excel for day‑to‑day financial processes.
• Collaborate across departments using strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
• Background in accounting and finance within healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.
