Director, Global Markets - Sales

About the role

The Director, Global Markets - Sales will be based in Kuwait and is responsible for delivering agreed sales and revenue targets for Global Markets (GM) products. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with corporate and government clients, positioning FAB as the go‑to bank for GM solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and distribute GM solutions to key target clients, meeting revenue and sales targets.
• Develop and deepen client relationships through regular engagement, thought leadership, and solution‑driven approaches.
• Ensure compliance with FAB’s regulatory, compliance and best‑practice standards across all client interactions.
• Collaborate closely with GM product, coverage, and enablement teams to deliver high‑quality execution.
• Escalate client, internal or monetary issues to the line manager in a timely manner.
• Participate in client events, forums and off‑site activities as required.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and optimise customer flow to grow the GM franchise.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Financial Management or equivalent.
• Strong contacts with corporate and government entities in Kuwait.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑asset class coverage and engage with Credit, Risk, Legal and Compliance departments.
• Team‑player attitude with experience working in a sales environment.
