Full Professor / Associate / Assistant Professor of Marketing

About the role

The School of Business at the American International University in Kuwait (a private institution founded in 2019, offering English-taught undergraduate programmes in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Arts and Sciences and Education) is hiring a full-time faculty member in Marketing at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The appointee will teach Marketing, maintain an active research and/or creative practice, and contribute to undergraduate education, curriculum development, student mentorship and institutional service.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Marketing.
• Develop innovative, technology-enhanced curricula using AI tools and interactive learning platforms.
• Update course content to align with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Supervise senior projects and advise, mentor and support students.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support programme assessment, accreditation and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of university teaching experience with demonstrated excellence in Marketing.
• Strong academic research and/or professional industry expertise in Marketing.
• Experience with curriculum development, assessment, accreditation and quality assurance.
• Strong English communication, advising, mentoring and student-engagement skills; ability to work in diverse, multicultural academic environments.

Preferred: exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to integrate diverse cultural and ethical perspectives into the curriculum, commitment to an inclusive academic environment, strong organisational skills and adaptability.
