About the role

The American University of the Middle East (AUM) is seeking full‑time faculty members for its Science Division within the College of Engineering and Technology. Candidates will join a vibrant, interdisciplinary academic community and teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions for undergraduate students.
• Prepare and continuously update teaching materials, syllabi and assessment tools.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Maintain and enhance subject‑matter expertise through research, professional development, or industry engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD degree from an internationally accredited university in the relevant discipline.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, interdisciplinary, fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrable proficiency in oral and written English.
• Industry experience is considered an advantage.
