Full‑time Faculty Positions in Engineering & Technology

About the role

The College of Engineering and Technology at The American University of the Middle East is seeking full‑time faculty members across a range of engineering and technology disciplines. Successful candidates will join a diverse, interdisciplinary academic community and contribute to undergraduate teaching and student advising.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate lectures, labs and tutorials in the assigned engineering or technology discipline.
• Prepare and continuously update teaching materials, course outlines and assessment tools.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students.
• Maintain and enhance subject‑matter competence through research, professional development or industry engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD degree from an internationally accredited university in the relevant engineering or technology field.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, interdisciplinary and fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrable proficiency in oral and written English.
• Industry experience is considered an advantage.
